Saltburn's dessert parlour
J.Becketts of Saltburn serves ice cream, lemon tops, sundaes and proper coffee from the Victorian Station Buildings on Station Square — right in the heart of town, a stroll from the pier and the cliff lift.
Our story
We opened our doors on Wednesday 8th April 2026 with a simple idea: a proper dessert parlour for a proper seaside town. Whippy and scoops in the counter, lemon tops the way they should be, good coffee on the machine, and sundaes built to order.
You'll find us in the beautiful Victorian Station Buildings at 6 Station Square — the heart of Saltburn since the railway first brought visitors to the coast. Whether it's a waffle cone on the way down to the beach, an iced latte on the clifftop or a sundae after fish and chips, we're part of a Saltburn day done right.
We're open every day, 11am to 7pm — because a good ice cream shouldn't be limited to the summer holidays. Dogs welcome, and we do dog ice cream too.
What we're about
-
A counter worth stopping for
Classic flavours, seasonal specials, dairy-free and gluten-free options — and someone behind the counter happy to talk you through it.
-
A proper welcome
Sandy feet, dogs, prams and big family groups — everyone's welcome. It's a seaside parlour; that's the point.
-
Part of Saltburn
At home in the Victorian Station Buildings, serving the town we love — locals all year round and visitors all summer.
-
Open every day
11am to 7pm, seven days a week — morning coffee, an afternoon cone on the pier, or dessert to finish the day.
